Having won the first two games in this season's SSE Airtricity League Terry and the lads will go into Friday's game looking to keep the unbeaten league run going but Shelbourne, who have had a bit of a faltering start to their season, will be looking to put that behind and go home with all three points.
In the lead up to the start of the season Shelbourne were many peoples favorites to be win promotion back to the Premier Division but in their first game of the season they surprisingly went 2-0 down to Galway away from home before pulling it back in the late stages of the game to win 3-2. In their first home game ,last week, against Cabinteely they was another surprise result as they lost to Cabo 3-2 in Tolka Park.
Terry will face into this game knowing that he has almost a full squad to choose from as his only injury doubt is Christian Lotefa after Rhys Gorman made a return to action in the EA Sports Cup game on Monday night against Galway Utd.
Even though it's early in the season this will be one of the biggest home games we will face and we would like as many supporters as possible to come to the Stadium on Friday evening to get behind the lads and give them support and encouragement they need as they look to stay at the top of the table.
Kick off in the Athlone Town Stadium on Friday evening is at 7.45pm
