We are delighted to confirm, as the Irish Sun reported yesterday, that Joel Coustrain has signed for The Town along with another former Shamrock Rovers player Harry Cornally
Joel Coustrain
Joel played his early football with Corbally United before moving to England to play with Sheffield United. He was with them for four years and signed his first professional contract. He then moved to Raith Rovers in Scotland before returning to Ireland in 2018 when he briefly played Ballynanty Rovers before signing for Shamrock Rovers. In 2019 he went on loan to Cork City where he was a big hit and played in their European games.
Harry Cornally
Harry, from Tubber, began his career playing in the ADSL and joined Shamrock Rovers at U17 level and won the inaugral U17 National League. After a year with the club he was playing for both U17 and U19 teams and was Captain of the U17 team. It wasn't long before he made his first Senior Team appearance which was in a Leinster Senior Cup game but a serious injury meant a long lay off from football.
Welcome to the club lads !!
